The Bay of Islands Resort is located 1.8km from the centre of Paihia. Set in a quiet residential cul-de-sac in park like grounds. The majority of our units are free standing chalets to create a quiet peaceful environment. The property is only a two-minute walk away from Te Haumi Bay Beach, which is safe for family swimming and sunbathing. The town centre is a comfortable 15 minute walk around the waterfront, or 20 minutes over the hill. Swimming pool, a booking office for local tourist attractions, guest laundry and bar-b-que equipment for those late summer evenings in the Winterless Far North. Front Desk Hours: 8:00am-6pm Christmas to Easter 8:00am to 7pm. Please advise if checking in/out outside of these times.
